Hi everyone! We had a great Monday. This morning we talked about the poppy and what Remembrance Day means. We also had a beautiful Remembrance Day Liturgy that was held in the gym. We were lucky to have veterans join us also.
This is what we got up too today ...
L.M and S.A are writing out "Today is Remembrance Day"
Mme. Cayci wrote us a morning message!
D.R (SK) wrote out the word "garcon". We were talking about who is une fille et un garcon during morning circle.
E.S was walking around with S.S writing out the months of the year. They also counted out how many months we have, and we discovered that we have 12 months!
L.M and C.C made "quatre serpents, une maman, un papa et deux bébés" (Four snakes, a mom, a dad, and 2 babies).
"It's a rocket holder so that it doesn't move" - H.M
"An oval is wider, and a circle is round" - S.O.
"When you have the middle in it's a circle, when you take it out it's an O" - C.C
A.T and A.B were racing their cars to see which one was the fastest "le plus vite"
They then turned their racetrack into a pizza shop. They sure so have a lot of customers :)
Here are a few more creations from our day :)
We were making shapes with the play dough and then counting how many we made!!!
M.H was pretending to have two R2D2's from Star Wars!
He also made some pretty great shapes and creations with the Geo Boards.
We also practiced writing our friends names at our letter center.
Have a great night!
