Merci Dieu pour ...

We had a great Wednesday with Mme. Cayci!!! In the morning we talked about the things that we are thankful for "Merci Dieu pour..." And here are some our our answers:

E.L started talking about when he lived in Africa!  This sparked a new inquiry in our classroom :)  We looked at a Map to see where we live in Canada.  We also looked to see where Africa is.  We are excited to do some more research!!!  We also talked to C.C to see what it was like living in Nunavut. 

We also had some friends start working on their November portfolio wall paper.  Here are some of their artwork...

We were also very busy building with our coloured blocks
 this morning.  We were counting how many blocks we 
used in French and we also were talking about what colours we used in French.

Thursday Nov 14th

Today with Ms. Mallamo we talked more about our 5 senses. We are getting so good at knowing what our 5 senses are. We also learned a new song:

At the water bead center E.T was using his sense of touch. This is what he has to say:
 "They feel like marshmallows.I'm using my hands 
and I can see it" - E.T

 We also had some friends making beautiful pieces of art....

The red guys are the good guys.  It is a pirate ship and they are battling - R.D


At our free art table we were creating 5 sense monsters / creations.  Here is a look at some of them.

We also had many friends create amazing structures out of the various blocks we have in the classroom.

" I made bacon rolls" - C.C 

" I made a pum pum pum, it pumps up wheels and it has feet" - C.C 

"I made two groups.  The blue is Louis he has 4 and the red one is olimar and he has 6.  Olimar has more. - M.H

"I made iceman, he has all kinds of fire even lava" - R.K

"We are making an aquarium for fish" - F.C, T.H

"I made a dinosaur boat and he is going to Canada" - C.C 

We also has an Ipad station where some of the children played some educational games that are great for fine motor skill development :) 

All in all we had a great Thursday using all of our 5 senses to explore the various centers in our classroom!!!

*** Reminder that this Friday is our last day to purchase school clothing.  We cannot accept any orders after Friday November 15th
