New Centers!!!

We had a great Monday!!!   Mme. Cayci and Ms. Whitteker rearranged our room a little bit and added a few new centers.  We now have a light table center and a water table!!!  We also changed some of our toys in many of our play centers and we have a new sensory bin.  

Here is what we got up to today ... 

Our new light table!!!  S.V, A.T and T.H were tracing the leaves from the light table, counting them and also making pictures :)

Here is our water table.  We added some mirrors to the bottom of the table, along with some gems and blue water beads.  The children had a bunch of fun today exploring this new center. 

   

The children loves seeing the transformation of the water beads from small to large as the hours of the day passed by.               

What a neat feeling holding the water beads!!! 

This is our new sensory bin.  We added wood pellets, some rocks, racks, leaves and little people :)

We had a ton of fun pretending we were on "une ferme" and feeding "les animaux".

We also made some pyramids and fancy buildings using our new geo-shapes.

We made "une maison pour les dinosaurs" 

We lined up some of our people by les couleurs "brun, rouge, bleu, violet et vert" 

R.K made a pirate ship at our new lego center.

Un Chateau!! 

We also did some crafting today.  

This is our tally of what we want to change our dramatic play area into.  Looks like Castle "un chateau"  won!!!
