Rainy Monday

We hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the weather (when it wasn't raining)!!  We had such a busy day. This morning we had an assembly to launch our magazine fundraiser.  A newsletter / package has been sent home in your child's mailbag.  This morning we also talked about Halloween and learned a few songs.

we also did ...

and one last song ...

We added some fun actions to the last song :)

Ms.Whitteker made a Halloween sensory bin to play with. She added numerous Halloween items to the bin, and we have to be Halloween Detectives and find the number of items that are hiding.

We used Halloween window sticky's to be our "Pretend" Halloween cookies.  We also used them to count and learn some new Halloween vocabulary "fantôme, citrouille, et chat noir".

S.A made a pattern using jewels from the science center.

R.A was feeling very creative and decided to create a Knight's Face mask.  He said it was his "Armour"

We also had a great time playing the play dough that F.C brought in. (Thank you so much! the children loved the colour and had a blast playing with it today)  :)

We also had a big interest in making paper fans today.

"This is a leopard, a cheetah, a lion, a panther, and a snow leopard"  - R.A

H.M created a beautiful citrouille for our Halloween theme!

E.D and M.H made an "Oven" for their marbles.

We had a great day despite the rainy weather!!!  We were able to go out and have a wonderful recess time in the afternoon.
