Ghosts, Pumpkins and Potions!

We had such a great day with Ms. Mallamo today! This morning our SK's wrote in their journals for "Journal Tuesday". They were asked to draw a picture and write a sentence about what they drew.

Hard at work writing in our journals!

C.S decided he wanted to draw in the "B" book.   He drew a bumblebee :)

We love writing in our journals.

Friends were also hard at work creating ghosts and pumpkins for our classroom Haunted House.

S.A decided to put glasses on her ghost!

Children could create their pumpkins and ghosts however they wanted too.   Some children decided they did not want to make a pumpkin or ghost and created spooky masks, and we also had one Frankenstein!

D.R (SK) made a spooky pumpkin mask

L.M and H.M show off their ghosts that they made.  They were both very proud. Great work girls!

Here is a picture of our Haunted House in the making ...

Some friends were pretending to make witches potions and also bake Halloween cookies.

R.D made a Matador and a bull ... He was very interested in bull fighting today.  He also made a scale to weigh the bull.  Lots of creative geniuses in our class :)

Here is another look at our sensory table with what the children need to find to make a witches brew :)

F.C, E.D, M.H, B.M and M.R love to make racetracks for their cars and marbles!  They worked very hard on this amazing structure.
