We had a great start to another busy week in our classroom.  We made sure to make the best out of our rainy Monday. With Mme. Cayci we explored "les couleurs" and what happens when we mix two colours together. This is what we discovered ... 

Mme. Cayci started off by having us predict what would happen when "les couleurs" were mixed together.

We discovered that Bleu et Jaune makes Vert

Rouge et Jaune makes Orange

Rouge et Bleu makes Violet

A. T was sorting at the table. When asked how she sorted she said that "yellow and blue makes the colour green, so that is why the green is in the middle".

We have also been recognizing and practicing the letters that are in our names. We have also been talking about what an uppercase and lowercase letter looks like. 

Ms. Mallamo let us borrow her tent for our camping inquiry in our dramatic play area.  We had a ton of fun pretending we were camping in the woods and keeping warm by the fire we created.  We are a crafty bunch  :)
