Friday Fun :)

We had a really great Friday.  This morning we went over "Les couleurs" et les chiffres en francais. 

 We were feeling very creative this morning.  We started off with some random items on our free art table and we ended up with "Silly Leaf Monsters".  We did a great job!  

E.S painted this picture and also let us know that she used "bleu, vert and rouge". 

S.A loves spelling her name with the alphabet gems at our alphabet center. 

S.S and S.B were setting the table in the house corner for tea time. We noticed that all our cups are "Bleu" and our plates are "rouge".

F.C, B.M and E.L love to build race tracks!!! 

F.C and E.D built a house for their grubs (marbles).  I believe the grubs are from the very popular "Skylander" craze. 







S.B made a fairy city where fairies live.

 We also noticed that the house corner hasn't been a very popular center for the past week.  We talked it over and decided to make a web to gather ideas of what we could potentially turn our house corner into.  Here are some of our ideas ... 

We had a class vote and we have decided that our house corner is going to be turned into a Halloween Haunted House, very exciting!!! If you happen to have any gently used Halloween costumes that aren't being used anymore and would like to donate them to our classroom that would be greatly appreciated. We are not able to use masks or hats for hygienic reasons.
