Our under the sea classroom :)

We have had a great week so far crafting and building our under the sea classroom!

This is what we got up too on Wednesday with Mme. Cayci :)

L.M, R.T and C.C made a very beautiful maison for their dinosaurs.

A.B and S.S made a pattern using our morning time mats

We also put up a peice of paper and made an under the sea mural :)

They did such a great job!  They can also add to it whenever they like.

Here T.H is making his jellyfish!

Our under the sea inquiry is really taking off!!

Here C.S, M.H and R.D were in their boat rowing towards to the fish :)

They are having a great time with this center!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is what we got up too today with Ms. Mallamo

S.B and S.Y were making alphabet soup!

F.C and E.L were on a letter hunt

E.S and R.D did a great job finding the uppercase and lowercase letters on their pages!

Our sea sensory bin has been a popular center.  The children love playing with the water beads and the sea creatures.  They were also adding buckets and other items

M.H was playing with the noodle sensory bin.  He noticed that there were different shaped pasta noodles in the bin

L.M made a squid and a home for her squid

S.A enjoyed playing with the word family center.  She was reading the new words she was creating!

T.C and R.K were playing at this number center.  They each rolled a dice, and they had to bingo dab which number they rolled.

We added some new items to our under the sea area ... we have some very creative children in our class :)
We are so lucky!!!

***Tomorrow is Olympics day.   If you have any Olympic / Canada gear, please feel free to wear it.  Red and White works too  :)

Have a great night!!!
