Quand le père Noël ...

We had a great Monday with Mme. Cayci!!!  We had such a busy morning.  We had our second advent liturgy, and then we also practiced for our Christmas concert in the gym in front of the entire school!  We did so good  :)


We found Sparkles in our class family tree.  He had put up a picture of himself and Santa.  After recess he had moved himself to the other side of the tree, and he had a red pompom on his nose, and also on the noses of all the children's pictures on the family tree.  :)   Sparkles sure likes to play jokes on us!!! 

R.D drew a racetrack!

B.M also made a really long racetrack out of the blocks! 

Also a big thank you to L.M for the play dough this week!!!  :)

We were so busy crafting, and singing that we didn't get around to taking too many photos.

We had another busy day!  This morning we practiced our song in the gym in front of the entire school.  Mme. Cayci stayed with us again today due to practicing for the Christmas concert and to work on some of our Christmas crafts :)

Sparkles unfortunately did not make an appearance in our classroom today.  We had a lot of noisy friends who were not listening well and he was scared away.  Hopefully he returns tomorrow. We sure did miss him!!! 

We did a ton of writing today!!!

A.B decided to write about Jesus

H.M made a book about the elf on a shelf. And she even drew picture  :)

The boys were making bridges and racetracks! 

S.A and A.T were making ipods and patterns with the mini lego

M.R built a car ramp

We were matching colourful sequins with the number on the star. 

S.S and H.M enjoyed playing with our nativity scene.  We have been talking about about what Christmas means, and who Jesus is

The boys made an amazing animal structure

This is our classroom Christmas tree that we painted and decorated!!!  

*** Just a side note that on the yellow piece of paper that went home yesterday about the Christmas concert times.  There is an error on it, and we are in fact performing at 5:20 not 5:25.  We are the 4th class to perform!
